This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
This school year, I have some amazing smart, hard-working students. My students all have very different personalities that bring a very diverse wealth of knowledge and support. My students love doing projects and working hard to please me. I am very proud of my students' hard work they put forth daily. Some of my students may struggle due to lack of parental involvement and the proper materials, but that still does not get in their way of learning.
My students and I have created a family-oriented classroom environment where we help and support each other through our learning daily.
My students teach me so much daily by staying actively involved in lessons.
My Project
These flexible seating wobble chairs will give my students the opportunity to sit comfortably and have the ability to be flexible when sitting. Most of my students sit in a standard chair that causes noise when they get restless or move around a lot in the chairs. These flexible chairs will all more movement for my students without causing a disruption with noise. The chairs will offer my students more stretch room while sitting around the kidney table, and they will also be able to easily move them around the room to use during computer time or when working on projects.
