My students need flexible seating to empower their learning through movement. They would benefit from choosing the most comfortable setting for learning . This flexible seating promotes student choice, creativity, and collaboration.
My students in the first grade and are young learners that are learning to become bilingual and bi-literate.
As well as learning a new language they are learning in which settings they feel more comfortable in and interacting with their peers.
As young learners I think it is important for students to be able to work in different setting and be able to advocate for themselves to reach a comfortable place to learn and be successful. I would like to provide them with a comfortable setting where they can interact and learn.
Through flexible seating options I hope to promote an environment where students can take charge of their own learning and make the choices that work best for them. Creating young independent students. Making sure students have choices is an essential component in motivating them in the learning process.
The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices.
The directors chairs will give students the option of choosing an alternative chair with a different texture. The wobble stools are adjustable and will allow students to sit at desk/higher tables but will still allow some movement. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out.
