Flexible Seating in the Classroom! Brand New and Exciting !
My students need flexible seating this year to be able to move throughout the classroom and feel comfortable working and learning. I have added some flexible seating in my library as well as throughout the classroom.
My 3rd grade class this year is my class from last year teaching 2nd grade! I looped with these wonderful, thoughtful, and compassionate about learning group of students and I cannot wait to start a new grade level with them. They are wonderful!
We are a classroom community and we pride ourselves on being cooperative with one another and sharing our learning.
My students are proud of the work they do each day and work really hard to meet goals they have set for themselves.
We cannot wait to tackle 3rd grade together this year!
Some of my students need to stand to learn, move around to learn or just sit quietly in an area of their choosing. To provide for my students to learn at their own pace and in an area they feel most comfortable in, is one of the many reasons I love to teach. I enjoy letting them decide some things for themselves. Sitting at a desk for hours may burden a students attention span and ability to learn. These flexible seating opprotunities, such as the ottoman footstools and stacking stools, will allow my students to feel comfortable and free to choose how and where they learn to the best of their ability with a little freedom built in.
