Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have 52 fourth graders who come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. They are faced with many challenges that make them unique.
My students are eager to learn each and every day to gain new knowledge.They want to make a difference one day as they know they are our future.
They know and understand that being in school each and every day is vital. Education is the key to success and I want to make sure that I give them the tools they need to be successful.
My Project
We always have limited space within the walls of a classroom. As students get older they often see the same old desk. What better way to enhance their learning than giving them something all desire.
Flexible seating, gives student an opportunity to critical think while being comfortable.
It gives them a chance to feel like they are at home seating in a comfortable environment. The Flex-Space Cozy Work Space Bundle will be used in the reading nook, so students have an opportunity to relax while reading. The comfy floor seats will be used while they are writing expository text using their clipboards. The mobile station will be used as storage to make space for flexible seating. The Flex-Space Balance Ball Seat will used in the small group are or a seat to take to your place of work.
Flexible seating is key for a productive and successful year.
