My students are creative, kindhearted, and very energetic! Our classroom is full of excitement with continuous learning experiences all day long. I always describe my Kindergarteners as sponges because they observe so much throughout the day both academically and socially. Each child in my classroom loves learning through a hands on, active approach that keeps them very engaged. They are truly an amazing group, with so much kindness in their hearts. I am very grateful to be a teacher to such incredible students that come to school every day ready to learn and grow as individuals!
Flexible seating is not just a trend for making my classroom look "cooler", it's a way to give students the freedom to choose at a young age! Choice is not the only benefit of flexible seating; movement, comfort, and sensory input are also key components to this arrangement in my classroom. I plan on using flexible seating all throughout my classroom, allowing the options each morning, where they would like to learn that day.
Students all learn differently, and they also have different comfort levels while learning!
Not one student is the same.
I am very excited to incorporate flexible seating into my classroom! From my experience, I've come to realize my students work better for me when they are having fun. I feel like with good procedures on how flexible seating works in our classroom, they will use it as a tool for engagement while they are learning! I want my students to leave each day with a positive mindset about school and I am confident flexible seating will have an impact on their school year! Thank you in advance for your consideration to help my student's love for learning blossom!
