My classroom is full of 26 energetic 4th graders from RU School District! Our district believes that "every individual deserves opportunities to achieve his or her unique potential." Always keeping that in the back of my mind, I want my students to have the best resources for their learning and to be at the forefront of educational excellence and innovation! I want to provide my students the necessary resources to have a choice in the way they learn best so they feel successful!

What kind of learner are you? Where do you learn best? As a teacher, it's time I start asking my students these questions!
These personalized seating options including stability balls, bouncy bands, and stools will provide my students the opportunity to choose where they feel they can learn best.
Providing flexible seating in my classroom will not only give students the freedom to choose where they want to learn but will also provide multiple options for all learners. Research shows that the benefit of flexible seating includes using up excess energy, improving metabolism, increased motivation and engagement, creating a better oxygen flow to the brain, and improving core strength and overall posture. This, in turn, leads to continued academic success, which as a teacher is my main goal! Please consider helping my class gain the necessary materials to achieve optimal academic success and have a choice in the process!
