This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students, like everyone else, go through various stressors throughout their lives and often need a space to relax and reset throughout the day. My office is just one of the places where they have an opportunity to do that.

Providing a bean bag chair will allow them to rest if they didn't get enough sleep, meet sensory needs or just gives them a place to cool down if frustrated.

Extra beanbag chairs will be provided in classrooms as needed for students who need a safe space within the class.
