My students need comfortable seating. They are very active at this age and they need to have seating that they can move around on and still focus is essential.

My Students

My students are 4 years old and will be 5 in September, October, and November. I am also a combinations class this year and have Kindergarteners. At this age they would benefit from having movable seats. My students are very active and wobble seats will allow them to move and focus at the same time. These seats also will help my students develop their core muscles. They need their core muscles to sit up the right way on the rug. It will also help them focus during center time.

My Project

My students need comfortable seats appropriate for their age group to sit on.

My students need to move even when they are sitting.

Wobble chairs and wobble cushions would provide a comfortable place to sit. My students would be so happy because they would be able to focus and move at the same time. These seats would help develop their core.

My students would be less likely to fall out of their chairs.

They would be able to sit on the rug comfortably. This would also make them aware of the space they need to stay in. It would help to keep them sitting up right and they would be less likely to accidentally kick another child.
