My students need flexible seating because a desk/chair is not a good fit for all students. Some of my students need the chance to move around as they work in order to do their best.
My students absolutely love learning, but their learning styles and needs are all different. Students enjoy coming to school, and depend on good relationships with students and staff members through their educational journey. Along the journey of the year, they find themselves holding accountability for not just themselves, but each other.
It is so inspiring as a teacher to watch my students learn what strategies, styles, and situations students discover they learn and work best in.

My Project
The stability ball, bean bag, and beach chair options will be used to allow students choice in where they would like to sit in the classroom. They can make this choice knowing what is best for them. Not all students are able to sit at a desk for long periods of time. With the choice of seating options, students get to work in an environment best suited for them.
Education is not a one size fits all, and neither is how students work best.
This project will help students be able to move around and work at the same time.
