My Students

My students are in kindergarten through fifth grade with mild to severe disabilities, including Autism, down syndrome, learning disabilities, and communication disorders.

Help my students to successfully participate and enjoy school! Our elementary school is in a high poverty area and many students come to school hungry. Not all of my students are able to participate fully in their general education without extra support. These materials will help my students learn how to be successful, independent, and happy in life.

My Project

This bench will be the perfect addition to our classroom. Students need a place to put their belongings when they first walk in the room. Students also need a place to sit and wait during transitions. This bench will be the perfect solution for this! My dream is to create a loving, safe, and welcome classroom. "Our roomy bench has plenty of comfortable sitting space for little ones…and 3 compartments to keep items organized and within reach! Plus, the padded seat is made of vinyl and attaches with hook & loop fasteners…so you can easily remove it and wipe it clean!"
