I teach special education grades preschool-3rd. I serve students with Autism, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities, behavior and emotional issues. My students are awesome and they inspire me every day to be the best version of myself I can be. What makes my students simply amazing is their ability to give their best effort every day. Despite their disabilities they work hard and always give you their best smile. I could not ask for a better bunch of amazing students.
I love my job but I could use some help.
I work for a low income school which comes with many challenges. I lack flexible seating which will help my students increase their attention and be in a comfortable learning environment. I ask for donations and for people to please support this project. Thank you so much.
Flexible seating in special education classrooms across the country is a must. Offering seating choices with this wobble chair bundle to students with special needs has been proven to increase, learning, focus and regulation.
Your donations will give my students the opportunity to be engaged in their learning while in a comfortable classroom setting.
Students will be able to stop using their traditional chairs and have a different choice. Students will be able to choose when working in small groups whether they want to use a traditional chair or a wobble chair. This will in fact be wonderful for those students who struggle to regulate their bodies seating in a traditional chair with no movement.
I strongly believe my special education students would greatly benefit from this project if it's fully funded.
