My students need to be comfortable while they learn. I want to give them some choices, such as the Neorok soft stool, for those who just can't sit in a conventional chair for 6 hours.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from a variety of economic, social, cultural, and family backgrounds. Our school is in a low economic area without much support from home. In our district, we are known as the "overflow school" where some students have to come if they can't get into their home school. For most of my students this is our home school; this is the place where we want to come.
My students inspire me to come back each day, do better, and teach harder.
I wish to provide them with rich learning experiences because each of these students has the potential to be someone amazing!
My Project
Some of my students just can't sit still for six hours, and that's not their fault. Some of them need to stand, some of them sit halfway in their chairs, some need to lean back or forward, one even bounces on the balls of his feet while in his chair.
I don't want their inability to sit in those stiff, conventional chairs to affect their ability to learn.
Right now, those stiff chairs or the floor are their only options. I've seen classrooms with flexible seating where students can choose a seating option that will work for them and the mood that they are in. I want to be able to give my students that option with these Neorok stools.
