Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Kindergarteners are coming from a mixed community of low income, military, and long-standing community families. This is going to be my first year teaching Kindergarten and I'm excited to welcome them into a fun and welcoming learning environment.

My students need to start in a classroom where they learn how fun learning can be and how they have control of their learning.

My classroom is very student-centered and I'm excited for what this year will bring!

My Project

I currently have students who work on the floor and would benefit from furniture that allows them to sit comfortably while practicing good posture. My classroom is also in need of some new stools for some our table groups for small group and independent work space.

I truly believe that having flexible seating options contribute to a better learning environment for all students.

My students enjoy their flexible seating arrangements but I don't have enough resources for all of my students yet. This project would help to fulfill that goal!
