My students come from rural and suburban areas. Many of my physics students take my class because they want to further their science education in preparation for a science or engineering degree. My biology and ICP students are required to take and pass these courses as graduation requirements. All of my student come to class excited to learn and love to do hands-on activities.

As their teacher I would like to provide them with the skills necessary to be competitive in a global market. My students strive to be successful and have high expectations for their futures. Science classroom experiences prepare students for many different aspects of adult life.
My Project
Students work very hard in the science classroom to master difficult concepts. Flexible seating will help them be more comfortable while they are learning. This will increase engagement and knowledge retention. Students will be learning critical thinking skills that will help them in other subjects and in every aspect of their life.
Retention is so important and flexible seating will help students feel clam and relaxed while learning.
I want all students to feel like they can ask questions, make mistakes, and keep trying. Classroom environment is so important to me and to my students. This will also help students work effectively in groups!
