I have 16 students in my classroom. Our school is a small, rural school in the Western UP, so funding can sometimes be hard to come by. Since we are a PK-12 school, the staff is very close to all the students. Usually we get to interact with our kids from the time they enter school through graduation. It is wonderful to see all the changes and growth in them.
The students in my GSRP classroom are four.
For some, this is their first interaction with children their own age. Having flexible seating options for them during lunch and table time will help them to stay on task and engaged in their learning.
My Project
My project is to help raise funds for flexible seating options for my GSRP classroom of 16 students.
I discovered I would need flexible seating options when I met some of my students at registration.
Due to out small budgets, I was not able to order a lot. I was able to order only one NeoRok seat for my classroom. I thought I would give it a try and see how it goes.
This seat is amazing. The year started off with very wiggly, impatient four year olds at table time. I started rotating the seat around for different students to use. It works amazingly well for the student who is using it.
I truly believe every student in my class can benefit from these NeoRok seats.
The one seat I have right now makes a HUGE difference for them, can you imagine how it can be if they all were able to benefit from a NeoRok?!
