Our students are kind, thoughtful, caring kindergarteners who are ready to learn! They love having opportunities to read, write, and create around the classroom, as well as express their curiosity and love of learning.

Our school is located in northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. Our students bring a variety of experiences with them to the classroom, and they are always supportive of one another. They are truly amazing kids!
My Project
Our kindergarten students love having the opportunity to create and learn around our classroom! Unfortunately, this often means that they are sitting on the floor, and they have difficulties focusing on their work. Flexible seating options -- bean bags, lap desks, and stools -- allow students the opportunity to work in locations that are best suited for their needs.
These flexible seating options would provide our students with places to comfortably create writing pieces and grow as readers, as well as help them focus on their independent work.
By donating to our project, you will be giving our class of kindergarten students a variety of flexible seating options (bean bags, lap desks, and stools) to use during independent work periods. These flexible seating options will help students to focus on and take charge with their work while being comfortable!
