My Students

I teach Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies to some of the brightest, most resilient 5th students you will ever meet. Their determination and eagerness to learn makes teaching them a true joy. Our hometown and school were devastated by Hurricane Michael on October 10, 2018. My classroom was completely destroyed and had a new found "sky light" after the storm. With water and wind ravaging through our classroom, most all of my classroom supplies, organizational items, and technology were destroyed. My sweet students have proven to be stronger than you could ever imagine. Even in a temporary location, sharing large rooms with the entire grade level, they continued to press forward and strive for excellence.

My Project

With the help of generous donations, I can provide flexible seating options for students in my classroom. These chairs also aid students with ADHD, as they allow movement while in a seated position.

Hurricane Michael took many things from us, but it did not take away our eagerness to learn.

I want to be able to provide my students will an engaging classroom environment in our portable classroom. With fun, flexible seating options, that will be possible. Please consider donating to our classroom. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. My kiddos deserve a space they love and feel comfortable in!
