My students have the unique opportunity of opening up a new elementary school, and being the first class of students to inhabit our classrooms and hallways! With this fabulous opportunity, also comes a need for flexibility, adjustment and change. Every student in my class is learning a new environment and campus, some are adjusting to a new state, and all are making new friends.
Together, we are creating relationships and traditions that will ring throughout the building for many years to come.
As a teacher, I get to watch children discover who they want to become in the world. Our classroom is a place where kids grow to become readers, writers, mathematicians and scientists. These pioneers of our campus are also learning how to think critically and thoughtfully about the world around them, as they integrate their own backgrounds into our lessons and school culture.
My Project
My students are learning many subjects in school, while also learning their place at a new campus. These flexible seating items will allow my students the ability to move about the classroom, and find a place where they can become further engaged in their studies.
Our classroom is our home away from home.
It is my goal to provide an environment that is as comfortable and engaging as possible. Therefore, providing a variety seating options will help reduce anxiety, and will increase the desire to learn and grow. My students thrive when there is choice provided in the classroom, and having choice in their seating options is no exception. Thank you for helping my scholars succeed!
