My Students

Over 80% of our students qualify for free or reduced-priced lunch. Their performance on statewide assessments have been slowly increasing. Despite the hardships that our students are going through, you would never be able to tell it when you visit our school.

Our students thrive on new challenges and opportunities so my goal to provide it for them using flexible seating.

They truly love to learn, and they love their time at school. My students are hard-working and eager to learn.

My Project

My students are passionate about life and learning. Facilitating thought-provoking conversation and debate, and watching young minds learn to truly think independently is the best part of my day. I teach at a low-income school, and although we aren’t an award-winning high performing school, our staff is motivated to raise performance. My students want to advance, and absolutely love learning. I work hard to provide a non-judgement safe environment so all students focus on learning instead of negativity that may happen outside of our class. Providing seating options is only one more way that I can assist the students success.
