My Students

As a teacher in a high poverty school district, I see that my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things exciting and meaningful for their learning experiences.

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day.

I ask them, "Who is the best second grade class in the whole world?" and they reply, "We are!" I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.

My Project

My students are an outstanding group of individuals who are constantly on the move in and outside the classroom. Flexible seating allows students the ability to take ownership in their choice of seating, as well as, increasing their focus during important instruction times throughout the day.

Flexible seating allows flexible learning.

Not all students learn the same way, so why not allow those same students the opportunity to sit in different seating options to enhance their learning experience?

Flexible seating is a game changer in our 2nd grade classroom. We would be absolutely thrilled to have additional choices readily available.
