My Students

My students are from a welcoming small town that exudes a sense of community. I want to bring that same sense of community and involvement to my classroom. We are a team who practices a growth mindset. Mistakes are embraced as part of the learning process, so we are thriving to be flexible in all aspects of learning. My goal as their teacher is to create an environment that promotes growth while making them feel at home and loved. I believe flexible seating will help us do just that.

My Project

These items will provide a comfortable environment that welcomes a variety of learners. I strive to provide engaging and interactive lessons, and new seating options will only add to student involvement. Students should have the availability to move and truly immerse themselves in the activities and lessons. The new seating options will also help students interact with one another and improve social skills. I want my students to feel excited about learning and prepared to be flexible learners. Flexible seating provides a way to be creative and comfortable while promoting responsibility. These items will help my students to become active learners.
