Ms. Swain from Hazlehurst MS is requesting flexible seating through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students seating options that will fit their needs beyond just sitting in a chair at a table!

I teach students that long for a chance to shine. My students are always looking for an opportunity to learn about and try new things. My students have varying levels of ability, but they never let that stop them from working together to learn and grow.
I am teaching my students to always build each other up.
I remind them to help their fellow classmates when they see someone that is having a hard time. They always rise to the occasion.
I know with added classroom supplies and instruction that these students will aim for the stars and reach them!
Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During centers they are allowed to choose a location in the classroom that works for them. Many of my students have a hard time sitting still in a regular chair. I have noticed a marked change in my students focus when they are given a choice in their seating.
The wobble stools that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices.
They are adjustable and will allow students to sit at tables but will give them the chance for movement. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out. They can also be used as an alternative chair if they are having a bad movement day.
I would like to meet my students unique needs so that they can continue to grow and shine!
