Help me give my students stools, lap desks, and different flexible seating options!

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are brilliant, respectful and hardworking! They are eager and excited learners. They range in a variety of levels in both reading and math. They are active first graders that love hands on projects, painting, and creating projects.
I have a group of students that work together and respect one another.
Students respect one another and know how to problem solve together.
My students are unique individuals that love coming to school and learning together. My students work together to learn, build, and grow as learners.
My students all differently and each have different learning styles. Having flexible seating in the classroom allows for students to make their own choice and allows them to be responsible for their learning.
Flexible seating allows for students to choose to sit in an area where they can be calm, focused, and productive throughout the day.
With this grant students will be able to choose to sit in chairs, on the ground with lap desks, stools, on the floor with comfortable back support, bean bags, or on cushions. Having choice in the classroom allows for students to choose which seating option works best for them.
Studies show that flexible seating and students choosing their seats allows the students to be more engaged during class time. Some students learn through moving and having flexible seating allows them to move and fidget without distracting others.
Having flexible seating in my classroom will allow for my students to make more choices throughout the day and begin to take ownership of their learning! It will make the classroom environment more exciting and engaging for the students.
