Welcome to our second-grade classroom! We are a group of 17 learners that come from diverse family backgrounds and have very diverse learning needs, which is what makes our class so special. About half of the students in our classroom come from low-income families.
The students in our classroom are kind classmates and hard workers who deserve nothing but the best.
My students care about one another and the world they live in. They love learning and I know they will do big things!
My Project
Students with flexible seating choices are more comfortable and focused in class. These flexible options allow students to move around the classroom and find their best place to work. As students move, they can stay better focused on their work. Students will have a choice between working in a tent or pulling up a portable desk to work.
Students really love seating choices.
When they have an opportunity to make choices in the class, students feel empowered.
Flexible seating has grown a lot over the years and has become a proven method to improve the classroom environment and help students be more productive in class. Whether it's taking a test or reading silently, working collaboratively or independently, flexible seating can help all students be successful in the classroom.
