Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing. I teach at a Title I school where most of the students receive free and reduced price lunch. They also receive food to help them at home. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds on all different levels.
My students are loved, respected and want to learn!
I am very excited that there are programs that want to help students learn and grow. As a teacher, I am willing to help students learn in creative ways. In order to do this, students need a variety of seating choices to meet their needs.
My Project
Flexible seating can really shape learning and engage students in the classroom. This allows students to choose their seat in the classroom to meet their individual needs.
My goal is to have a variety of locations in the room for my students to be most effective.
I want to motivate my students to learn in a creative way and be the classroom who students love to come to. You can be a part by helping with the following items for my classroom.
The stand-up desk allow students to get up and move during lessons. The exercise ball will help students learn balance and help with their posture. The portable lap top desk will allow the students to choose their location in the classroom and give them flexibility to move.
