How do we prepare students for technology, engineering, and science-based careers that do not even exist yet? We are living in a rapidly growing, fast-paced world that revolves around the internet and technology. As an educator, my challenge is to prepare my young students to think in a way that stimulates their creativity while helping them develop a mathematical and scientific foundation in order to understand the world around them.
The students in my classroom include many gifted students who are looking for a way to expand their intellectual horizons.
They are enthusiastic, creative, driven, and engaged. These students are constantly redefining my role as a classroom teacher as we work together and learn from one another's experiences. My ultimate goal for these students is to help them develop a passion for learning that will last a lifetime.
Every student deserves to have a comfortable learning environment where they can focus on the task at hand, learning. Many young students struggle with sitting in chairs for long periods of time. These children would greatly benefit from access to wobble chairs that would provide a way for them to move their bodies without being disruptive to others.
Your generous donation to our project will improve our current classroom by providing seating options to all of my students.
I am always looking for ways to create the optimal learning environment for my students and these wobble chairs would provide students a break from the plastic chairs that they spend many hours in each day.
