My students are brilliant and energetic 4th graders from North Houston, Texas! My class is extremely diverse with a wide variety of backgrounds ethnically, economically, and educationally. All students bring their unique cultures and personalities to school which makes our classroom an exciting place to be. Students in my class pride themselves on showcasing kindness, perseverance, ad curiosity. Our class is made up of many learners that learn in different ways, so we are always trying something new. Our district emphasizes the importance of every student entering with a promise and exiting with a purpose. We work to ensure this daily!
My Project
My students need ACE Active Core Engagement Stool for Kids flexible seating and become fully engaged in an educational day of learning! Flexible seating is an important part of the modern day classroom! Not only is it exciting and gives students a choice, but it also aids students in controlling their restlessness.
Flexible seating is proven to improve students focus, attention, participation, and academic progress!
These wobble stools will be used at a small group table to aid students in focusing during their work time with the teacher. Wobble stools will also be used as a reward in our class store for students who show great qualities of learners! The best thing about these stools is that they are durable. Many students will be able to use these stools, and they will not break like other stools we have had in our classroom. This project would benefit all of my students in so many ways!
