I have 29 of the most persevering and deserving 4th graders on the planet. Many of them come from homes that are below the poverty line, but they show up at school every day ready to learn and give me their very best selves. They are fun, curious and hardworking.
My students deserve to have the best opportunities and tools in their classroom to help them focus, learn and grow.
They strive to meet my high expectations, and they do it with a smile. They are kind and considerate friends and members of our classroom, school and local communities.
My Project
My students already use and enjoy the few flexible seating options that I have been able to provide for them. With flexible seating, they are able to be comfortable and focus completely on the learning at hand.
I hope to have enough flexible seating options in my classroom to fulfill each student's unique needs and desires as a persevering and engaged learners!
With this project I will be able to offer them a variety of flexible seating choices from wobble stools and cushions to yoga balls and floor seating. These items will provide quality flexible seating choices and help to create a fun, engaging and purposeful learning environment.
