My students come to school energetic and ready to learn every day! They enjoy movement and hands-on activities the most. It is hard for most of them to stay engaged while sitting in a hard, uncomfortable chair all day. They often get fidgety and restless. I would like the opportunity to offer them flexible seating options that will make them more comfortable while they are learning! A comfortable learning environment will lead to more student engagement, which means more success!

Kindergartners are very active learners from their brains to their toes!
They need movement in everything that they do. My students also need to have a choice in their seating so that they can feel comfortable and do their best work every day.
Students can choose between the wobble stools, soft seats, or the stability balls to do their best work on each day.
Students will have the freedom to move and get their wiggles out as they work in a non-distracting way. Students with sensory needs and hyperactivity will also benefit from these seating options. Every child has different needs and learns differently.
Gone are the days of passively sitting in a desk and a chair. Students in my class will participate in group work and engage in collaborative problem-solving tasks. They will be free to move and express themselves as they work in an environment that is comfortable and conducive to their learning styles.
