Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from low economic backgrounds. We are a diverse, we are a school family. We work hard, laugh and enjoy some of the simplest things. They are very energetic and have a wide range of interests.

My students are energetic little individuals that come to school every day ready to learn.

I encourage my students daily to be their best and give them opportunities to shine. This group of fun loving, sweet, and caring students enjoys each others company. Their desire for knowledge will help them to reach their full potential.

My Project

The wobble cushions will benefit those students that have a hard time sitting still to learn. They can use the cushions on the floor or even in a desk seat. The cushions will work in either spot. The Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats can be used for reading centers, math lessons, or just a change of pace.

Giving students ownership of how and where they sit may also give them ownership of how they learn.

The energetic students that I have today will benefit from making their seating their choice. This will give students a bit more freedom within a safe environment.
