Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are eager to learn and excited about reading and producing great writing. Most recently, they embarked on an end-of-module task where they created a poetry portfolio that told the story of an important event in their lives. The results were outstanding.

These students are all extremely innovative, tenacious, and determined to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

They also have various educational needs that require them to access information in different ways. With the right tools in the classroom they can achieve anything.

My Project

Every student is unique so I want to build a classroom that is suited to all learning styles. With flexible seating, students will be able to choose the most comfortable and engaging way for them to participate in class. This is especially important for students in the special education setting.

Help us meet our students needs and make our space healthier and more productive and with flexible seating.

By having flexible seating, students will be more alert and able to participate in the lesson. During writing activities, they can be more comfortable and will be able to focus for longer periods of time. Students can use the classroom the way they need in order to accomplish their goals.
