My students are full of energy and excited to learn new things. They love working collaboratively, solving real-life problems, and having choice in the classroom.
My students are hardworking and determined to make a difference in the world around them.
All of my students participate in activities outside of school and in the community. They are dedicated to learning something new every day while learning from their mistakes. Each day when they enter math class, they look forward to engaging in a variety of activities while utilizing our limited flexible seating options.
My Project
My students and I are asking for more flexible seating. We currently have exercise balls, a few stools, and pillows for students to choose from. The Kore wobble stools, saucer chairs, and bungee chairs would enhance our student centered classroom while fostering engagement of all students. Currently, our classroom's flexible seating must be shared due to a lack of options for all students.
