This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them. I strive to give them experience they might not get otherwise. If I don’t provide these text rich experiences, they might not get them at all.

Our school is 95% English Language Learners with 90% receiving free and reduced lunch.

I want to give them every opportunity to succeed. I remember how magical learning to read was.

My Project

My students come into my classroom with a variety of needs. One of those needs is different seating options.

Some students like standing up.

Some students needs to move around or wobble. Some students prefer the floor. I want to accommodate all differences in my classroom to create an optimal environment. My goal is for my students to walk into the classroom and feel comfortable. They spend more time in the classroom than their own home. My classroom needs to be an environment where all learners succeed and have the resources to do so. Thank you for looking and donating.
