My students need options for flexible seating! Flexible seating will allow students to choose a work space where they can be successful and productive. Flexible seating is great for active second graders.

Students are challenged and encouraged to make discoveries in the classroom through hands-on learning opportunities.
In second grade, students will spend this year building the crucial foundational skills they need for future success, both in and out of the classroom! We believe that through hard-work we are able to learn and expand our capacity for critical thinking and ability to problem solve. Every day is a new experience and a new adventure in second grade!
My Project
Everyone loves having choices! So do our kids! Next school year, our classroom will include flexible seating options for the first time! Students will be able to choose between a variety of options including wobble cushions, comfy bean bag chairs and exercise balls. This will make our classroom a more welcoming and comfortable environment for learning. It will accommodate the needs of students of all heights, sizes and energy levels.
Having flexible seating options like these allow students to find a work space where they can be successful and productive!
These options will be especially helpful for the kids that have a lot of energy that traditional seating just doesn't work for.
