My Students
My students are eager and wanting to learn. As a teacher in a low-income district, my students are faced with a variety of challenges every day. Many of them do not have access to the necessary resources outside of school to be successful and reach their full potential.
They are very energetic and are curious about the world as they know it.
My students come to school looking for the chance to learn and become successful.
Our kids come from neighborhoods with little resources and from families will limited education. Despite these limitations, my students have goals that they want to accomplish in life. They are future doctors, police officers, lawyers, artist, teachers, and much more.
My Project
Flexible seating allows students the opportunity to choose how they can work more efficiently. As we move towards personalized learning, this will give students a chance to personalize the way they work. Students will have the chance to work on the floor, under the table, with movement, standing, and more. This will accommodate their different learning styles.
By donating to my project, you give my students a better way to gain focus and improve their motivation to learn.
The roundtable gives another option for students to work in groups. The floor seating helps to make sitting on the floor comfier. The wobble chairs allow for those active students to use as a form of movement and create less distraction.
