My Students

Fifth grade is such an important year! My students are in the process of changing from being an elementary student to being a middle school student. They are gaining self-confidence and are more aware of what they need to help them learn and have success in school.

My students are also learning to make independent choices and be more accountable for their own learning.

My students need an environment that fosters and supports their growth in maturity and independence. They love to work in their own space and are successful when given choices to do so.

My Project

Studies show that kids are getting more sedentary, but we can do something to help them be more active and learn better at the same time. Flexible Seating!

My students have unique preferences for learning and completing their assignments, and they are so successful when they are able to work in the way that fits them best.

My students need the opportunity to make choices about their learning environment, and they need to move throughout the day. With these flexible seating options, students will be able to do that, plus they will be able to focus better and stay engaged with their own learning.
