This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the best students who deserve to have access to all the tools they need to be successful in an environment they feel comfortable. My students work hard to achieve their goals and overcome situations they face on a daily basis!

My Project

I have amazing students who deal with all sorts of outside experiences. I strive to make my classroom predictable and structured but also flexible and inviting. I don't want my students to be 'stuck' in their desks alllll day long! I want to be able to give students options to work comfortably yet collaboratively with their peers. Having options such as floor seating, directors chairs, stools to sit at my large counter height table will make my classroom more inviting.

My students deserve to learn mathematics with their peers in a comfortable, inviting environment!
