Flexible Seating for a Flexible Work Environment

Help me give my students these items. Teachers much incorporate collaborative opportunities as best practices in their classroom. This requires movable/portable seats and desks, and access to technology through creative work spaces and seating.

My Students

To help the students of 2020, I feel that my classroom needs to offer a flexible area for work. This includes standing desks and seats for collaboration and technology. I want my classroom to be a place where there is no failure. A place where my students can improve their individual abilities and also embrace challenges to help them grow. Having a flexible environment will help education to move beyond the confines of a curriculum and into more meaningful learning.

My Project

These materials will make a huge different in my classroom. Traditional desks and seating can be very restrictive if a child needs flexibility in seating. This makes focusing and being still very difficult for some students. These students need a environment where they can stay motivated and thrive. The workplace of the future has recognized the benefits of collaborative work. It is important that teachers incorporate collaborative opportunities into the classroom. The traditional school environment is not conducive to how all students learn and work. I would like to give all of my students the opportunity to be successful in an environment that meets their specific needs.
