My students need flexible seating options such as wobble chairs and sensory pillows within the classroom. This will allow children with sensory concerns to have options rather than the traditional school chair.
Kindergarteners are so eager to learn! Every year I have 20-25 youngsters that come in excited to learn new things and meet new friends! They each learn in their own way, have differing interests and range in personalities from introverts to excited, energetic kiddos!
There is never a dull moment in my classroom filled with kindergarten kiddos!
I love that they are so anxious to learn! They beam with excitement when they learn something new or make a connection between what they already know and their new learning. When they reach a goal like mastering their letter identification or letter sounds their excitement is contagious! They love when learning can be hands-on and engaging! Every day they challenge me as their teacher and they work so hard to do their best! Kindergarten is where learning is evident every day!
In today's public schools a major shift is taking place where teachers are not only focused on what children are learning but also HOW they learn! Every child is different. Some are more active and need to move as they learn and work, and the requested kore kids wobble chairs are a great option for them. Some children have sensory concerns where special seating sensory cushions such as these Senseez cushions help them focus better as they learn and work. Some children simply learn and work better in something other than the traditional classroom desks, tables and chairs. By adding more seating options within my classroom, my students will be able to work and learn in a fashion that is more conducive to their age, learning style/preference and academic need.
