My Students

Our classroom is a busy place, but there are times when we need to focus on the work at hand. Sitting still is often not an easy task for adults, let alone active young minds. With flexible seating options, this could be the year that students fall in love with learning.

My students are a group of kind-hearted, ready to learn second graders.

Each and every day they come to school full of wonder and joy. With various learning styles, my students thrive on lessons that are hands-on and keep them moving. Our school is a community of learners in a rural setting, where students have big dreams!

My Project

My students love working in small cooperative groups during learning activities and would use these six balance ball chairs to put more movement into their school day, keeping them focused and engaged. Flexible seating options would allow students to take ownership of their learning, while getting out excess energy.

It is my goal to help all students be successful and feel successful in the classroom.

By giving students the opportunity to release their energy while learning, they will be more focused, attentive, and able to engage in lessons and activities. Our class greatly appreciates your help creating our alternative seating arrangement so that we can reach our full potentials!
