My students need the option of flexible seating in our classroom. I have 4 legged stools now but they often lean one way or the other unsafely. Wobble stools would be a safe alternative.

My Students

My first grade students are so special in many ways. They have blossomed into great readers and have shown so much growth this year.

Each student has their challenges throughout the day, but they work together to support and encourage each other and it is a great thing to experience each and every day.

Our rural community is a blend of agricultural professions and city living.

Each student comes from a very different family and socioeconomic background, but have blended well within our classroom.

My Project

Students often need an outlet for energy as they are in their seat working throughout the day. Students in my classroom have flexible seating options, but the stools that I currently have often get tipped side to side unsafely.

The Lakeshore Wobble stools that I have chosen would prevent this from happening while still allowing the students to get their wiggles out during the day!

In our classroom, the students will get to choose their type of seat from day to day and will get to have the opportunity to wiggle while they work. Flexible seating is still somewhat new to me, but my students are really benefiting from it.
