Do you remember "surviving" middle school? The transition from child to teenager and all the physical and emotional challenges you had to overcome to succeed in school. My students are in middle school and have an endless amount of energy. Sitting still for a 40 minute class can be a challenge for the typical 13-year-old student.
My students are outgoing and worthy of the best education and classroom I can give them.
My students are enthusiastic and competitive! They are diverse and fun.
My Project
To connect with students they need to know that the teacher CARES. They also need to feel empowered. First impressions are so important and an inviting classroom sets the initial tone of how the class will progress. If the room is warm and inviting it shows the teacher CARES about the comfort and well-being of the students. Selecting an alternative seat option empowers student ownership into classroom.
Alternate seating is the first-year step to ensure that adventures in learning begin as soon as the student enters the classroom.
We are ready to learn about science and grow. Every child in my class needs to feel cared for and empowered. Alternate seating is the first step.
