My Students

My kindergarten class is very structured and positive. We love to sing and learn. We expect our students to follow the traits of being safe, respectful, and responsible. Drama time lets my students explore creativity through pretend and personal expression.

Our school emphasizes small class size, which is great for the students.

My students come in with differing interests and abilities. Some will know all of their letters, and some will know just a few. That is why it is important to have many different learning activities planned. Differentiation is important to me and my school district.

My Project

My students love to move around or stand up. This table will allow my students to stand at the writing center or use my stools and relax while making a neat craft or writing an original story. Students love to get their wiggles out so sitting at tables all day doesn't work, and options like this are perfect during literacy and play centers. I have 20 students and having different options for different learning styles makes learning so much fun for these energetic kindergartners. The tables are easily moved height wise for kids of differing sizes. Thanks for considering for our class!
