Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school may be low-income, but my students bring rich cultural heritages to my classroom! They come from all over the world and speak multiple languages. Each one has something to contribute, and each one is in the process of finding his or her voice.

My students are our future!

They are cautious and curious, reserved and rambunctious, timid and tenacious. Regardless of their style though, they are all excited to explore the world. They take pride in their growth and push themselves to excel!

My Project

Many students, including middle school students, have experienced decreases in physical activity over the course of the pandemic. Middle school students have also had to adjust to what for many, is their first experience with in-person, full-time, middle school, and the social, mental, and physical requirements that accompany this change.

Flexible standing and seating options provide middle school students with choice, physical movement, and mental engagement that can help them thrive!

The products that I have selected will help my students to make more effective learning choices by giving them additional seating options that work within the middle school environment. Thank you for your support!
