Flexible Seating and Optimal Learning

My students need flexible seating to have the optimal learning experience. Having these style tables will allow me to offer each student the ability to have a comfortable learning environment.

My Students

I teach a group of special education students who range from Intellectually impaired to specific learning disabilities. My students come from a range of backgrounds, but most of them are on free and/or reduced lunch program.

"Every child deserves a champion--an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be." -Rita Pierson

I teach my students with this growth mindset. Knowing that I can help them reach their maximum potential and focus on all the CAN do in the classroom!

My Project

I am asking for tables that are adjustable so that I can provide flexible seating to my students. My students tend to get antsy sitting in traditional seating. These tables would allow me to provide, bean bag chairs to sit and work in therapy balls for them to sit on, or a stool that they can sit on. Regular desks/tables would not allow me to provide these options to my students. It is important when working with students who have various disabilities that you are able to provide what is right for each of them and this is what these tables would allow me to do.
