This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My diverse group of learners need choices! Flexible seating options will allow them to wiggle, wobble, rock, bounce, and soothe while being able to learn and complete reading/writing during the school day. This is an incredibly active class! They enjoy dancing, drumming, stretching, tapping, etc. I love it!

Students with special needs that require continual movement or core support will benefit from having different choices that accommodate to their physical needs.

When students have choices they feel empowered and in charge of their learning. These choices promote on-task behaviors, thus more learning and growth!
