Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

For the 2019-2020 school year I will be co-teaching a 4th grade classroom. Our class will have the majority of the ESE students in the 4th grade. They are the students that will need extra hands on activities and the ability to move. The school that we are in has a high Hispanic migrant population. Our district/school has a low socioeconomic status and all of our students are on free lunch. These students have the ability to succeed, they just need someone to believe in them.

My Project

These students need the ability to move and wiggle while learning in the classroom. These seats will add to what we already have for flexible seating in the 2019-2020 school year. These seats will give students the opportunity to move while learning. Since a large portion of the students have ADHD, this will help them focus in the classroom. Please consider giving, if only a small amount, towards this cause. Every amount helps!! I believe in these students, and I want to give them everything I can to make them successful. Thank you again for helping with this great cause!
