The students I teach require more individual attention than the students who are in a general education classroom. I would describe the students in my classroom as authentic, kind-hearted, helpful and respectful. All the students in my class have very unique personalities. They all contribute to the classroom in different ways. They walk into the classroom every day, ready to learn and ready to do their best. I try my best as a teacher to be as supportive and accommodating as I can.
My Project
Learning environments are very important and should be suited for all students. Students should feel comfortable in the classroom, this is a place they spend a majority of their time. Not all students are comfortable learning from their desk or by sitting on a hard floor.
The items I am asking for will allow my students to choose seating that will enhance their focus and learning.
Some students need a chair that has movement to it, or a ball that has some bounce. Not all work can be done at a stationary table. This project will help my students choose between a wobble chair, balance ball seats and comfy floor seating. Please help my students make their classroom a nice comfortable home!
