As a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district, I see that my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. In my classroom, I strive to create a positive learning environment in which they can thrive. In our class, our goal is to give our all everyday.
My students are sweet, smart and hardworking.
They deserve the very best that this world has to offer. I can't wait to watch them achieve their hopes and dreams!
My Project
My students need headphones and flexible seating to engage in Zearn Math. The headphones will be for each student to use with the digital component of Zearn Math. Educators believe there is no better way to show your support for a student-centered classroom than to create a classroom for a child's point of view.
The wobble seat cushions and reclining seats will be used for students to sit on during their digital Zearn lesson.
My students will use each of the items during our seventy-five minute math curriculum that our Parish has adopted. Flexible seating is a great way for students to get out of their desk and chair and enjoy creative seating!
