My Students

My class of six and seven year-olds come to school to have a safe and inviting environment where they know they will be loved. Because of the students' socioeconomic status, they don't always have the opportunity to use engaging tools that increases their motivation to learn. We are a Title I school. I want to bring technology with driven and engaging ways to learn in the classroom to make learning fun and exciting each and every day.

I want my students to learn in an environment that they feel most comfortable.

My goal of teaching is to find tools and ways to increase that love of learning and for my students to become lifelong learners.

My Project

Students learn when they are able to be comfortable and are able to move around and stay active as needed while learning. With these materials we will be able to add more options to choose where we learn best and be able to stay active and moving during times during our learning. We will use these materials to discuss and learn about the importance of being healthy and staying well through movement and exercise.

Students are learning to be healthy and well through choice of seating.

The portable lap desk tables will give students a place to sit that can be easily moved depending on what we are learning. These will also give students a solid work place to complete work whether they are siting in the floor or on the couch or a chair.
